I started The Betterment because of my powerful testimony with Christ Jesus, who transformed my life and called me to share His love and message of salvation. Through this organization, my mission is to spread the gospel and Christ’s love to communities across the state and worldwide. This website was created as the perfect opportunity to expand connections, reach more people, and inspire hearts to turn to the Lord through fellowship, outreach, and faith.
My Story
At the age of 15, my life changed forever when Jesus came to me in a profound and unforgettable way. One night, He walked into my room, sat on my desk, and spoke directly to me, telling me to get up. In that moment, my soul left my body, and I found myself sitting before the Lord. He told me to change my life and come to Him, then walked toward me, embraced me with a big hug, and assured me it wasn’t my time yet. When He commanded me to return to my body, I resisted, but He repeated that it wasn’t my time. Reluctantly, I returned to my body, jumped up, and He vanished. Overwhelmed and shaken, I ran to my mother’s room to tell her what had happened. She hugged me, confirmed her belief in my experience, and prayed with me immediately. That divine encounter became the driving force behind my desire to serve and honor the Lord as I grew older.

However, as the years went by, I began to backslide, falling back into the ways of the world and allowing the enemy to use me for his works. I turned to drugs, alcohol, and promiscuity, trying to fill a void in my heart. By the age of 21, I had become an alcoholic, consumed by a lifestyle of sin and despair. Then, at 22, on New Year’s Eve 2023, while driving to a club, I felt a voice speak clearly to my spirit, urging me to give my life to the Lord. That message shook me to my core. I pulled into a nearby park, walked into the middle of the field, dropped to my knees in tears, and confessed Jesus Christ as my Savior, rededicating my life to Him.

From that moment, everything changed. I committed myself to the Lord, delved deeply into the gospel, and began living by His word. Over time, God led me into preaching and youth leadership, guiding me to mentor and disciple others seeking Christ. Today, I serve the Lord wholeheartedly, using my testimony to inspire and lead others into a relationship with Him, proving that no matter how far we stray, His grace can redeem and transform us.
